In the first and final installment of this year's Educator Insights video series, Superintendent Perkins will discuss:
Community-Driven Strategic Planning: Perkins highlights the importance of incorporating community input into a shared vision for students, translating it into actionable goals with a purpose-driven, living plan that guides real change.
Expanding Student Opportunities: By fostering partnerships, the district creates diverse career pathways, hands-on experiences, and robust CTE programs. Early exposure to fields—from traditional professions like medicine to specialized local industry roles—broadens students’ horizons and inspires future success.
The Transformative Role of Educators: Teachers are at the heart of student engagement, bringing community-driven initiatives to life in the classroom. Perkins emphasizes that the true magic of education happens when the classroom door closes, and educators connect with students through meaningful teaching.
