AASL surpassed the attendance goal by 20% with social media


Finding support for a major social media marketing campaign

Having worked with Agile previously on direct mail campaigns and
seeing success, AASL made an easy decision to take advantage of
Agile’s new social media marketing service, AgileSocial. Their goal was
to promote their upcoming National Conference and Exhibition.

AASL wanted to effectively promote this campaign to school
librarians across the country with a wide-reaching strategy that
engaged librarians to connect, learn, and register to transform
education. Working with Agile to increase early registrations from with
Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram, they ultimately found
social success by targeting and testing. “For our 2019 national
conference, AASL implemented a new registration pricing structure
in which the discount amount decreased monthly. We knew we
needed to get the word out quickly.”
